Your name has its own colors. Your birth date, too. Every letter and every number is associated with a color.

As you probably know, numerology works only with numbers, and with letters converted to numbers.

When making your name-colors image, the first step the image creator does is to convert every letter of your name into a digit. Then, those numbers are used to generate an image with the associated colors.

As noted, numerology works only with numbers and letters. It does not work with things, only with names and dates related to people or things.

As an example, here is an image of numerology colors for the word "flower".

Every letter of the word "flower" can be converted to a digit and calculated with numerology. But the flower itself cannot be calculated.

As further examples, the same fact applies to tree, sky, car, river, music, happy, and goal. Also individual colors. Every letter of a color's name can be converted and calculated with numerology. But the color itself can not.

For generating the color images, the numerology-colors software is assigned colors with names pre-calculated to every digit that letters can be converted to.

This is what happens when your name is generated into a color image:

1. Every letter of your name is converted to a digit. (Periods, spaces, and other non-alphanumeric characters are ignored for this image.)

2. A color name is associated with each letter's digit. (The color name is one that calculates to the same number as the digit it is being associated with.)

3. The colors are blended and layered onto an image. (The stripes of color are color gradients that blend into each other.)

When the generator is done, it will publish your image. At that point, your image can be downloaded and shared.

The image represents the colors of your name — or whatever other letters or numbers you typed.

Names can be company names, fiction character names, words in the dictionary, or made-up words.

Dates are similar. A color name is associated with each digit and an image created. Dates can be birth dates, wedding dates, company-start dates, or any other dates.

As of this writing, these are the colors associated with the digits 1 through 9 at the Your Numerology Colors page.

Because no color name can calculate to 0 (zero), the digit 0 is associated with the color white.
