Who Says Which Numbers Are Lucky?
In numerology, lucky numbers are the result of calculations — mathematical calculations.
Numerology lucky numbers are not happenstance, nor do they depend on a subjective idea of what might sound good. Competent numerologists never just make them up as they go along.
In numerology, the meaning of "lucky" is objective. In other words, the same meaning applies to one person as it does to another. The same meaning applies to everybody.
The numerology energy represented by numbers in someone's personal numerology chart attracts certain events and circumstances, or makes certain personal characteristics more likely.
The events and circumstances, and personal characteristics, a person's numerology chart energy tends to attract is almost always in accordance with what the person is comfortable with.
That is the meaning of "lucky".
A person's numerology lucky numbers are the numbers within their numerology chart.
As an example, the number 5 is a lucky number for the person with a life path number 5. Thus it is with all numerology chart numbers.
There are some other numerology lucky numbers, too. Not all lucky numbers end up in the personal numerology chart — but are closely related to it.
The additional lucky numbers are the base numbers (the numbers that are reduced to determine the numerology chart numbers) and the numbers revealed during the reduction process.
Let's again use a life path number 5 for an example. Birth date December 18, 1964 will work.
Looking at the birth date, you see three numerology lucky numbers, 12, 18, and 1964 (12 being the number for December). Add those three together and you have another lucky number, 1994.
There are now four lucky numbers. Reduce each to a single digit to reveal four more.
1+2=3 1+8=9 1+9+6+4=20, 2+0=2 1+9+9+4=23, 2+3=5
There are now eight lucky numbers found in that birth date: 12, 18, 1964, 1994, 3, 9, 2, and 5
The life path number is found by adding the reduced number of each of the date numbers. Then reducing the result:
December 18, 1964: 1+2=3 1+8=9 1+9+6+4=20, 2+0=2 Now: 3+9+2=14, 1+4=5
Remove duplicate numerology lucky numbers and you have a list of lucky numbers derived from a birth date.
As you probably realize by now, when the lucky numbers of each position in a personal numerology chart are calculated, there can be a lot of lucky numbers — even with the duplicates removed.
The luckiest of the numerology lucky numbers are the birth date number (the life path number) and the name number (the destiny number). After that, core numbers.
There are daily lucky numbers, yearly lucky numbers, and others.

Although this article presents the means to determine some numerology lucky numbers, its primary focus is on what makes them lucky numbers.
What makes numerology lucky numbers lucky is that they are numbers found in the personal numerology chart. The energy of numbers found in the chart tend to attract events, circumstances, and personal characteristics according to their resonance.
Thus, what is attracted by numerology lucky numbers tends to be what a person is most comfortable with or has deepest desire for.
