Affinity Numerology : Often Asked Numerology Questions
Birth Certificate Wrong
Once in a while, a birth certificate is filed with incorrect information.
Occasionally the name is misspelled. The person doing the typing or data entry may misread a doctor's or nurse's notes, for example.
Less likely, but something that does occur once in a while, the wrong birth date is recorded.
The name exactly as it is first recorded (generally, the birth certificate) is used for numerology calculations.
The actual birth date, regardless of how it is recorded, is used for numerology calculations.
It may seem illogical to use one item on the birth certificate verbatim with the other item being subject to something outside the birth certificate. I'll describe the reason for the difference.
Wrong Name
When an incorrect name is recorded on a birth certificate, it is the first recording of the name.
In other words, the name was never officially recorded anywhere else. Thus, this very first recording is the name.
If a mistake is found later on or the parents decide the name should have been otherwise, it still doesn't change what was first recorded.
Therefore, the reason the name as recorded on the official birth certificate is used for numerology calculations is because no official name recording was recorded earlier.
Wrong Birth Date
When an incorrect birth date is recorded on a birth certificate, it does not change the actual birth date.
In other words, the date of birth is what it is regardless of how it is recorded. Information in a record does not change a physical fact.
Therefore, the reason the actual birth date is used for numerology calculations is because no clerical mistakes can change the timing of the birth.
Thus…
The name as first recorded and the actual birth date are used for numerology calculations.
